Dan White

Dan White was a Bangkok-based British photographer who specialized in in-depth, long-term assignments for the media and for international aid organizations. He passed away in 2012.

After working as a news photographer in London and Paris, Dan moved to Asia, basing himself in Phnom Penh and Bangkok. In India he produced pioneering work on the complex world of Hindu ascetics and also covered the end of the war in Cambodia. His images have been published in The Times, Der Speigel, Marie Claire, The Observer, South China Morning Post, Maxim and Loaded. Dan’s book projects include Buddhist Temples of Thailand (with Joe Cummings, published by Marshall Cavendish).
